The Spring 2023 NTGA Fine Art Tour and Sale is coming up soon. I’m looking forward to showing with the fabulous
Val Crowder-Irwin in her pristine and freshly painted Art By Val Gallery space.
We have some marvelous new paintings to show you!

In total, there will be 33 incredibly talented artists participating in this beloved event. We will be displaying our art in our driveways, backyards and studios. We are all within walking/biking distance of each other in our beautiful, leafy, North Toronto neighbourhood.
Plan to make a day of it! Get out for some exercise, see some beautiful art and enjoy the sunshine. (And if mother nature doesn't cooperate, Val and I will be operating within the beautiful and sheltered Art By Val Gallery space, so don't let the weather deter you!)

TIME 4 CHANGE ART ACTIVISM GALLERY & SHOWCASE 2023

Location: Toronto Reference Library, 789 Yonge Street, Toronto
In addition to works of art on display and available for bidding during the silent auction, there will be live performances
from schools and youth groups who have created activism pieces in the form of spoken word, song, dance, and much more.
Since 1986, YWS has been offering shelter and support for youth facing homelessness in the GTA.
Their goal for this event is to raise $100,000 in support of their ongoing efforts to "Change the Narrative" and advocate action to end youth homelessness.
I'd like to thank @phdivaart for introducing me to this great organization and for encouraging me to take part.
I will be donating my piece, "Resilience", to this great cause:
Update: My piece, "Resilience" was sold at the auction and 100% of proceeds have been donated to YWS.

Sheila and I have been artist friends ever since we met in an oil painting class many years ago. We were also show-mates in the 2021 NTGA Art Tour last Fall.

As a new member of the North Toronto Group of Artists, I am very excited to be taking part in their 13th Annual Fine Arts Outdoor Tour! In previous years, participating artists would open up their homes for the tour; however, given the circumstances this year, the tour will be held completely outdoors and all current COVID safety protocols will be in place. There will be 42 talented local artists ready and waiting to welcome you into their outdoor spaces on Saturday, June 26th and Sunday June 27th, from 11-5 pm both days. We will be collecting donations to the North York Harvest Food Bank so please don’t forget your
loonies and toonies!

I am excited to be taking part in RAW Artists Canada's National Arts Drive on Saturday, June 20, 2020.
This initiative has been organized to support and promote the arts during the COVID-19 pandemic. Artists of all kinds will be performing and showcasing their work outside, in front of their homes and other designated locations, at a safe social distance. Thousands of artists will be participating across Canada, US and Mexico.
To join as an artist or attendee, visit their website at www.NationalArtsDrive.com. Attendees are invited to drive or walk through their communities and be entertained by live performances and exhibits of artwork. If you register as an attendee, mobile city maps will be made available to you on the date - including markers for every artist participating in this event. Many artists in my neighbourhood are participating.
I will have a display of my art out on my front lawn and additional art will be on display in my backyard for safe socially distanced viewing. Hope to see you drop by!

As a new member of the recently formed Lawrence Park Art Collective, I am pleased to be taking part in my very first art show and sale.
